FOUNDER / CEO:  Michael has managed organizations for more than 25 years. He is the founder of Rosenthal Business Consulting, International Vice-President for LehmanBush, and President of AmChamUS. Michael was a law clerk for two U.S. federal judges and served eight years as a Federal Prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice, receiving an Outstanding Trial Attorney Award in 1993 and 1996. Michael served as the Special Prosecutor and Minister of Justice for the Republic of Palau, taught law at the Palau Community College, and served two years as the Palau Bar President. Starting in 2005 he served as the Asia Pacific CEO for Day Light Inc., USA, and subsequently worked in various industries including environmental, education, human resources, fashion, retail, health/beauty, and media. Michael has provided consulting, training, and coaching services to Fortune 500 companies including Baxter, Bayer, Cisco, Continental, Danone, Johnson Controls, Prudential, SAP, SAIC, Shanghai GM, Volvo, and others. He has worked in various sectors of media and entertainment, in front of and behind the camera, and has appeared in numerous commercials/movies/television shows with well know Chinese actors including Louis Koo, Hu Ge, Sun Li, Yang Mi, Ren Da Hua, and others. He has also produced/directed various promotional videos and has been a host/emcee/panel facilitator/auctioneer for many events including the President’s Roundtable on Cancer, the Fur Free Fashion, SIAS, AmCham Charity Galas, the International Solid Waste Management Summit, Book Launch of Americans in Shanghai, and the 50th Year Anniversary of US-China Ping Pong Diplomacy. Michael also regularly organizes business events and has served for four years as Chairman of the AmCham-Shanghai Environmental Committee and on the AmCham-Shanghai Board of Governors. He graduated with honors from the University of Massachusetts with a B.S. degree in Psychology and the American University Washington College of Law with a Juris Doctorate Degree.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER:  Frank Zhang is a highly accomplished financial executive with extensive leadership experience spanning global finance, risk management, and cross-border business development. As the Chief Operating Officer of RBC Consulting, he plays a central role in guiding corporations through financial strategy, investment management, international trade, and sustainable growth initiatives. Frank previously served as Vice President at Merrill Lynch Securities, where he specialized in wealth management, portfolio strategy, and high-net-worth advisory services. His expertise in asset allocation and client relationship management positioned him as a trusted advisor to sophisticated investors.  He later joined Allstate as Regional Director, overseeing financial planning, insurance solutions, and market expansion across key U.S. markets. Subsequently, as Group Vice President at World Financial Group, Frank led regional operations, enterprise development, and international strategic expansion, strengthening the organization’s presence in global markets. Beyond his corporate leadership roles, Frank has been deeply committed to fostering bilateral business collaboration. As President of the US / China Business & Culture Association, he played a meaningful role in promoting economic cooperation, cultural exchange, and commercial connectivity between the two nations. With an exceptional command of global financial markets and a strong dedication to international partnership development, Frank Zhang continues to shape impactful financial strategies and drive cross-border business and investment initiatives on a global scale.

INVESTMENT VP: Ma Shibin is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in global trade, widely recognised for his deep expertise in international supply chains, cross-border operations, and multi-industry export growth. He operates his own fashion knitwear manufacturing facility serving major markets including the United States, Europe, Australia, and South Africa, and is highly respected for his mastery in customs clearance, logistics optimisation, overseas warehousing, and market development. Beyond apparel, he has built a diversified portfolio across automotive exporting, environmental new-energy solutions, and LED commercial display technologies, developing resilient export-driven business frameworks in each sector. His strategic vision and operational discipline have enabled numerous product categories to scale rapidly in global markets. As a co-founder of the International Export Service Center, Ma Shibin provides end-to-end support for companies seeking to enter or expand in international markets. His expertise spans global product import and export operations, go-to-market strategy and overseas channel development, international project investment and cross-border business structuring, strategic planning and execution for enterprise globalisation, and full-cycle export compliance, supply-chain management, and market acceleration. As the founder and driving force behind our company, she brings a rare combination of qualifications, experience, and strategic vision that empowers both our team and our international clients.
